Mesa Arch is a pothole arch on the eastern edge of the Island in the Sky mesa in Canyonlands National Park in northern San Juan County, Utah, United States.

The northern lights occur all four seasons of the year, although they are harder to see under the midday sun. The best time to see the northern lights in Alaska is between August and April, when less daylight leads to darker night skies.

A trail that leads you behind the falls and out the other side the Seljalandsfoss waterfalls in Iceland. Seljalandsfoss is located in the South Region in Iceland. The waterfall drops 60 meters.

The dark trees in the foreground act like a vignette leading the eye up into the layers of mountains in the middle ground. Naturally right though the clouds  to the warm bright sky.  The dark storm clouds create tension while pushing the viewers eye back into the center of composition.

Stokksnes is a headland on the southeastern Icelandic coast, near Hofn and Hornafjördur. Stokksnes is located south of Kastarárfjall mountain, and includes Vestrahorn mountain, which was featured in the Bollywood film Dilwale.

Within Olympic National Park, there are three distinct  ecosystems, including subalpine forest and wildflower meadow, temperate forest, and the rugged Pacific coast.

White Pocket is a group of domes and ridges covering an area of one square mile, below a larger mesa lined by similar rocks.
