I am a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), and member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and the Chicago Area Camera Club Association (CACCA), based in Illinois.

I am celebrating nearly five decades as a photographer. I began as a film photographer, capturing images for models to display in their portfolio. After earning my BA degree at Columbia College in Chicago, I transitioned to capturing images of landscapes and wildlife, which has taken me to over 30 U.S. National Parks, to Europe, Africa, Asia and Canada. When I am not traveling, I enjoy capturing images of architecture, dancers, portraiture and, creating long exposure images and special projects.
I have created and presented training programs for the #OutofChicago workshops, various CACCA clubs in addition to providing mentoring and private tutoring. My images have been exhibited in museums and galleries in the U.S. and Asia.

Through my decades of experience, knowledge and perspective, my passion is reflected in the feeling of each carefully selected image. I am always seeking to find new and creative ways to present images which will trigger and emotional response which encourages and inspires. My ongoing commitment and dedication to capturing positive emotional images attests that, "I don't shoot pictures, I capture images”.
